2020 Thanksgiving Case Special!
Get a perfect case for Thanksgiving, 6 bottles of the 2019 High Plains Rosé and 6 bottles of the 2020 Enchanted Rock Mourvèdre.
2019 High Plains Rosé is a blend of Cinsaut, Mourvèdre and Carignan grown by Andy TImmons at La Pradera Vineyards. In the middle of the night, the grapes are hand harvested by our crew (yes, at night, 300 miles away from the winery). Whole-cluster pressed to ensure a delicate texture, this rosé pairs with almost anything and any occasion. Recognized earlier this year by the Houston Chronicle as "One of the Top 5 Rosés you should be drinking this year" this wine is perfect for Thanksgiving day, the porch and this warm, dry La Niña winter we're having right now. - 1570 cases produced. $15/bottle.
2020 Enchanted Rock Mourvèdre is sourced from 3rd leaf vines north of Fredericksburg on the way to Enchanted Rock, the vineyard's namesake. These vines were planted by Susan and John Curtis on gently sloping alluvial clay soils over limestone in a small valley created by Crabapple Creek near the old farming community of Crabapple. Our crew hand harvested the fruit at night, sorted the clusters intact into tanks, blanketed with CO2 to encourage fermentation inside the berries, then punched-down open-topped to finish primary fermentation. Pressed off to stainless steel. Filtered after ML completion and bottled. Goes great with breakfast, lunch and sunny days. Barely 11%. - 86 cases produced. $20/bottle.
