2019 Round Mountain Estate
The Touriga Nacional and Tempranillo were planted in 2006, and we planted the Tannat in 2014. We hand harvested each variety at night, destemmed and fermented individually in open top bins with gentle punch downs by hand. After pressing, the wine was aged about a year in neutral French oak barrels before being blended together before bottling. 2019 was a typical El Nino with ample rainfall and relatively cooler weather prevailing for the most of growing season, producing a solid vintage in terms of quality with plenty of fruit. -330 cases produced
