Cellar Notes- 75% Tempranillo / 25% Mourvèdre. Primarily High Plains fruit, with some Mourvèdre from the Hill Country blended for depth. Aged 18 months in 85% neutral oak, 15% first & second use French oak.
Rich tinting of black plum skin with enticing aromas of macerated black cherries, fragrant tobacco leaves, vibrant Indian spiced & roasted meat. Palate introduces with bursts of cherry, cranberry, tart plum, and following with a softer second layer of baking spice at the finish. Medium-bodied with a fresh delivery. Great for most any season, and perfect for pairing with slow-cooked meats.
